:-) Hi Everyone, I'm new here and learning slowly how to get around this wonderful site, even tho it has been two weeks since I joined. I am widowed with two children and 7 grandchildren. I own two cats and one is deaf, like me, named Casper, who I taught to understand a few signs and does crazy things. I want to learn how to make a quilt that shows Casper doing all kinds of crazy things.

Hi and welcome from Kansas City!

My friend has a male white cat that is deaf also. I think I read somewhere that it is quite common in white male cats. He is adorable though!!!

Thank y'all for the welcome. I heard about the deafness in male white cats, too. I was very surprised to see that in his first year, Casper had yellow eyes. Imagine that! I've seen green or blue, but never yellow. As he reached his first birthday, they turned into a pale sage greenish yellow.

Welcome from up the road a piece.
Your cat looks just like my rescue, Frederica. They are so cute and loving. Here you will receive so much encouragement that you will be sewing lovely quilts and lap robes/couch throws in no time at all. And should you have any questions, there is talent here from all over the world to help. |
Hello and welcome from the Arkansas Ozarks.
