Hello Ya'll!

I've been a lurker on this board for a bit but wanted to come out of hiding after seeing the great advice and encouragement from everyone in the community. :)

I am a quilter of about nine years with two beautiful DDs and lots of friend and family who love my quilts! I've tried other hobbies, but I always come back to quilting as my true love. I like to use traditional quilting patterns with bright and loud fabrics. Piecing the tops are my favorite part of quilting, but I have found a place that will rent time on a long arm so I am hoping to build less of a hate and more of a love relationship with the actual quilting part of quilts. I use Pfaff sewing machines because I love the IDT feature, their speed, and its basically what I am used to sewing with.

Hello and welcome from the north east.

I am a Janome user, but am interested in learning what an IDT feature is of a Pfaff sewing machine.

Here is info on IDT from Pfaff. It is basically a dual-feed system for sewing machines - a built in walking foot!
