I have never done this before. Am wanting to make a baby quilt for a Baby Girl. I want to incorporate a Beatrix Potter character picture in the middle of the quilt. I have no idea of how to go about this and was wondering if anyone would be able to offer suggestions. Thank you so very much!

Hello and welcome from the Arkansas Ozarks.
Happy quilting.
I am sure that someone on this board will be able to give you some ideas. Sorry, I can't help, but I usually have to go by the pattern still.

Maybe look for a panel with Beatrix - and add quilt blocks around it. Good way to start out. I don't don't know if there is such a thing...but wanted to welcome you anyway!

welcome. I would lay out what you want in the center and keep adding around it, since you are just starting out, keep it simple, blocks or strips are easy and look wonderful. Just keep at it, quilting is addictive and very rewarding

I love Beatrix Potter too. If you have found fabric, you and do a fussy cute but if not you can get fabric that can be sent through an inkjet printer. if you have a favorite scene you can copy or photo the page then print it on fabric. Hope this helps. and Welcome to the Site!

Welcome from Wisconsin. I have a large Beatrix Potter panel, if you need one. It is quite big, like a small lap quilt size.
