HI, I'm new and want to say hi :)

Hi, all! I'm Debbie. What a great site! I'm so excited to be part of it. I love crafts of all kinds.
I also have a question: I have a Brother se400 machine, and I tried connecting the cord to my computer to get designs but that didn't really do anything. Is there something I'm missing?
So I got a PedBasic (which I haven't opened yet I'm happy to say) and now from what I'm reading, I don't need the pedbasic (which is what I originally thought when i read the machine's literature). That was one of the features that caused me to buy this machine.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I might be doing wrong?
thanks for your help!
Keep Crafting,
Debbie :)

Howdy from Oklahoma! Welcome to the Board. I haven't ventured into electronics with my sewing machine but hang around because there are tons of folks in here that know the answer to your Qs.

I just wanted to welcome you to the quilting board. Someone should be able to help you with you machine issues. You might check the internet and see if there is a Yahoo group for Brothers machines. Happy Quilting!
