I'm learning to sew and to quilt, as well, and am having a great time. I love putting together colors and textures. So far I've done two wall hangings, about 34 inches square, of my own design and a bunch of nine-patch squares.

When not sewing, I read, do water bath canning and play with my cats. Oh, and spend time at my job, too -- have to earn money for more fabric!
