Found this site quite by accident - I'm enjoying the quilts & comments. I'm so new to the site that I don't even know how to navigate around it to become more than a "newbie"! Its possible I won't even find this note once it disappears from my immediate view.
I am a retired maternity RN with 1 hubby, 3 grown sons, 1 grown daughter, 4 terrific grandsons, 1 Karelian Bear dog, 2 cats, & 3 Tennessee Walker horses. I am fairly new to quilting - tackling only simple projects so far that do not require a long arm, designs for quilt-finishing or even meandering. I have just done small projects and unfinished quilt tops - chicken to tackle the scary finishing by anything other than in the ditch. This limits me so much, but not sure how to get past it and get better. I'm hoping to learn from all of you in cyberspace. Blessings to you, montanajan |

You will learn a ton from this board and if you get stuck you can always ask for advice. I live in Missoula and we take our dogs to Wind River Tails and Trails to doggie day care and they play with the Karelian bear dogs - that was a new breed to me. Enjoy the board!

Welcome from Colorado, just down the hill from you. You will love it here. I found the Board by accident too and it was the best discovery I've made since I met my DH 49 years ago. Well, there may have been a couple of others over the years; but this Board is full of great people who are so willing to help you.
