I've been reading this newsletter for over a year and decided I'd better get involved.
I have been sewing since I was 11 - 50 years! I mostly did clothes throughout my school years and work years but now mostly do quilting. I have a number of sewing machines--Singer 626 (first one I bought when I got my first job), Singer 403 (my Mom's), a Phaff 1179, a Viking Quilt Designer, a Viking 936 Serger, and the baby, my Singer 221. I've only been quilting since 1999 but enjoy it. One of the favorite things about quilting is the fabric shopping!
My wish list includes a longarm some day. My skill level with quilting has to improve before I can even think of that!
I enjoy reading others comments on this site--so helpful with tips and seeing their work.

Hello, and welcome from St. Louis! Sounds like you have lots of choices to work with when you sew! I tend to take a favorite out and set it up, and forget to use the others. I keep my Featherweight for workshops and the other for home sewing. Haven't sewn on my treadle for years. Am tempted to take it out and play!
