Holiday greetings from Oregon!
Hello from the Oregon coast! :)
I am happily married and have a son who attends college as a senior at a southern OR. university during the school year. I am at a "beginner" level when it comes to sewing and quilting as I haven't sewn anything since the early 1980's in 8th grade Home Ec. class. I just dated myself..haha. Recently, I bought my first sewing machine which will arrive here at the end of the month...am very excited to get started and learn from this amazing group of talented artists! I hope to gain great insight into the world of quilting and make friends along the way! Hope you have a great day :cool: |
Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If you can take a beginner quilt class at your local quilt shop, it will help with the basics. There are also wonderful videos available now on the web. My favourites are the ones done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt Co.
