I'm Introducing myself to all

I've been quilting for many years & now that I'm retired i can get back into it! My biggest roadblock is the mitered corners when doing the binding. I hope to find help on that! I'm from CT but now live in FL -moved here 5 yrs. ago.

Welcome from NC. I'd like to work on those mitered corners too.

What I learned in a binding class...stop stitching 1/4" from the end, fold the binding back onto itself at a 45 deg. angle, then begin sewing again at that 1/4" spot. My miters seem to come out fine with this method. Good luck.

Welcome to our world. Corners can be daunting. But after making a few you will wonder what all the fuss was about.
