I just started making quilts about 5 years ago. My 36 year old son was making his first quilt as a gift for me when I mas making a small "puzzle" quilt. I love making quilts, but when I go to a quilt show I realize that I might make quilts, but I'm definitely NOT a "QUILTER". What those women to with fabric is way beyone my capibilities. But I love what I do and enjoy finding this Quilting Bord.

Welcome from North Carolina!
I've heard it said that we are all crazy for taking fabric, cutting it up into little pieces, and sewing all of the pieces back together into a big piece. I think we are all quilters. Everyone has to start somewhere, and as long as you are enjoying yourself then that is what counts. My sewing time is when I unwind. After the kids are in bed and it finally quiets down that is exactly what I need. My husband watches TV and I get to sew with no demands being made on me. Peace! |
