I've been subscribing to this website for several month now and decided it was time to introduce myself. I'm a self taught "fair" quilter. I love the art, the shopping for fabric, piecing, machine quilting (usually some thing easy like stitch in the ditch or straight lines). I've ventured into free motion with something called "Borders and Blocks Made Easy" has anyone heard of it and tell me honestly what you think I still haven't decided if I really like it. My stitch in the ditch and straight lines look better I think. But if I practice I think the free motion stuff will come along. Any way I just wanted to say "hi"and how much I enjoy this website, although sometimes it keeps me from actually quilting. Glad to be a part of this group.
