Quiltingboard Forums - New Here. New to Sewing Quits too.

Hi All,

Ive been Knitting and Crocheting for a long time. My cousin knows how to quilt. She wanted to learn some things in knitting and crocheting. So I told her I will teach you if you teach me how to quilt. Of course she said yes. When she came to visit me. I taught her and she taught me some things in quilting. I have made only very easy quilts. I have made one in 10 inch hawaiian squares for my sister. One 10 inch squares for my daughter. Came out kinda small tho this was my first one I ever made. and a couple of baby quilts only one layer but I did do quilting on top. Plus a dino quilt one layer for my grandson who is 4 this was the first one I quilted on top. What fun that was. Just easy scroll.(is that the name) I am making another 10 inch squares in Hawaiian print, but my baiting is to small so I sewed them together to make one big piece. but I made it so I have seams. Now I have read that I can do it in zig zag putting them together so I dont have a seam. I am really learning in here , Reading all of your letters. Thanks so much for all of your help out there.
