Hi everyone, I am new here, and new to quilting. I have made two quilts so far, one lap quilt for my youngest daughter and a large quilt for a volunteer fire department auction. I am still so excited about quilting and cant wait to get really good.....right now, no matter how hard i try, cant get all seams to line up right, but i have to say, that they are not off by much, dont know if i am cutting wrong or sewing wrong, but i will keep working at it.....fabric is addicting, i probably have enough to make 20 quilts already....and i always buy extra for any cutting mistakes i make, i live 45 miles from the nearest fabric store, so i am always afraid if i dont get extra, they wont have it when i go back..
anyway, cant wait to talk to you all...... from texas, daph |

Picked up this tip from somebody here on board, a while back, and if I could remember who it was, would give them a hug...sew and measure...sew and measure...eventually, I guess, I won't have to measure, quite so much, but right now, even with the 1/4" foot, it helps, lol, immeasurably  |
