Hello, I had been wanting to join for some time so I finally took the plunge. I've been quilting for nearly 20 years and have a stack of works in progress I am slowly winding through, including a Dear Jane and Sprigs & Stars. I sew with a Janome 6600 and Bernina 240 but also love to put my vintage Singer 201-2 to the paces now and again. I have a friend who is a member here and so the site comes with recommendations. I hope I have something worthwhile to contribute soon... The biggest hurdle for me is Free Motion Quilting. I can do some basic stuff pretty well but looking for ways to improve and will be looking in posts here for inspiration. :o

Thank you Cyn! I just finished another baby quilt top so I have something reasonably small for practice. I think I will keep it simple though because I have to get this quilt to the new mom very soon.

I hope you've not been affected by the flooding there.
