I havwe been quilting off and on for about 2 years cuz of the hours I work. I'm working on a quilt now that has alot of 2 1/2 inch square. I have attached most of the rows, now im on the last 4 and one row is not matching up with the others. i measured the squres and they are 2 1/2" wide by 2 1/2. What am I doing wrong. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to matching seams. HELP!!!!!!

are your seams going in opposite directions so they 'lock'?

Hi fellow quilters, I am new to this type of sewing, I just joined a guild in coastal Mississippi. My question for the day is - Can anyone help me locate attachments for a Kenmore very plain - basic model 1994/1995 model. I am looking for the 1/4" guide, free motion foot, walking foot - can you help? Also I will be upgrading to a new machine possibly late next year and would like recommendations.
Thanks,
Alisa

Hello and welcome from Oregon!
Hmmm....
Do you have a picture of your problem? Did you check your 1/4 inch seams?

Hi and welcome from Texas. If it is shorter, you may have stretched the others. If it's not off by much, you may can pin, pin, pin, and ease in the difference. I think if you put the longer row on the bottom, the machine will ease some of it also, seems the bottom feeds through faster than the top. Double check your seams. Sometimes I accidently bump the little lever that positions my needle and it causes me a world of trouble.
