New to Quilting Board and quilting
 

Hello from the Midwest,
I have been quilting for a couple of years but am wanting to do everything. I have a conventional machine that I've had for 30 years and sewn just about everything under the sun. I live in Missouri but spend half each month in Kansas helping take care of my Mom. My sewing goes with me.
I am married and have two adult children. Neither are married so alas no Grandchildren. We have a cat and four small dogs that we love and spoil a lot.
I love history and have been collecting Civil War Fabric and am in the process of completing a quilt to commemorate that period.
The only thing I have trouble with is I want to learn it all and take on too much. I find quilting helps fill part of the void that developed when my kids left. I love it and want to learn more:cool:

I have 4 German rotts and several out door cats.
