new to this site.

I've been quilting since 1995. I like quilt patterns that are quick and easy. I'm looking for a pattern called THE DISSAPEARING 9 PATCH. do any of you have a pattern for it? I dont want to bore you with details but I'm going thru a divorce. I'm helping take care of my 90 year old aunt and 88 year old mom so things are hectic. I dont have a lot of time to quilt which is why I like the easy and quick to make. I LOVE string quilting. I save all my scraps, no matter how small for string quilts. I'm not all that good with a computer. About all I do is send e mails so I hope I dont lose this site. gail

There are several tutorials on the D9P on this board. Type in the search box, disappearing 9 patch or maybe D9P. You can also Goggle disappearing 9 patch and I'm sure that you'll get some links to go to. If that's too much for you, PM me and I'll email directions to you. Also want to welcome you to the board.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Yes, check out QB tutorials for D9P. The basic 9patch block is cut in half in both directions to make 4 new blocks to arrange. You might also enjoy some of the youtube videos done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt Co.
