Newbie Quilter from SW MI
 

Hi all . . . I just discovered quilting this very month. I took a Quilting 101 class at a local fabric store and am hooked. I used to sew years ago - I have a 25 y/o machine (for the time being) but will be looking to upgrade. I can't wait for the holidays to be over so I can start quilting. And looking forward to learning more from this forum.

Welcome Marsha from a former SW MI resident. We used to be snowbirds here in Florida. We made our permanent move in 2002 and soon after I became a quilter. I miss the beauty of the snow, especially on the evergreen trees. I definitely do not miss living in the snow. Have a good and safe winter. :):):)

We're closer to Muskegon (south). The west side of MI is beautiful. We'd like to get back up north once we're both retired.
