Oregon Coast Newbie to Quilting!
I am a real newbie to quilting! My first experience has been to make rag quilt tote bags for 4 of my sisters. It was so much fun and got me interested in the world of quilting. I see I have SEW much to learn and that is why I am here. I feel overwhelmed and wonder how to start. I would love to learn how to make the blocks ... quess tutored videos would be a great place to start ... comments?
Looking forward to meeting and getting to know you. Rita |
Welcome from SoCal....this is a good place to get any questions you have answered. There are lots of free quilt patterns on the internet..look for one that is easy and jump in! You will need some supplies like cutting mat, rotary cutter. U-tube has lots of helps too.

Thanks, Elaine ... I will find a Utube to watch and then go buy some tools!

Hi Rita,
Welcome from the Adirondack Mtns of northern NY state! I'm pretty new here myself and I feel sure you will like it. Each time I log into the forum, I see a new idea or photos of someone's completed project and I then wish there were more hrs in the day :-) |
