There is a need for quilts for children. Most of us have a lot of extra fabric. I'm sure some child would appreciate a new quilt to snuggle with. Please be creative, make a small quilt. Any size would be welcomed at your local hospital. Happy stitching.

My friend's daughter just had a 3 night stay in the hospital. She took her to the ER for what she thought was something minor, and turns out she forgot her blankie and stuffed toys. But when they got up to their hospital room, there was a brand new quilt waiting for a child on the bed. My friend will never forget that. We are going to host a quilt drive for that same hospital in october on our blog!!

Hello and Welcome to the board :D:D:D
There are many of us here who participate in Quilts For Kids and other charities too. It is a great feeling to know these quilts help to cheer up a child :D:D:D

Welcome to the board from Southern California!

As Amma said, there are many of us on here that donate to Quilts for Kids. I just sent in 6 about 2 weeks ago.
