I have actually been a member for a while, but lost myself and quit coming to the boards. I am back now, and need to get inspired and start quilting again.

Welcome back! I"m glad you've found yourself (and us) again. I've been there and got lost for a year or so myself. It can be long walk back. I'm glad you made it.

Feeling very welcome by everyone, and I signed up for a post card exchange. This will get me back in my quilt room faster! Now if the raccoons would stay out of the attic.

Welcome back!
Your note about keeping the racoons out of your attic made me laugh. My folks had trouble with squirrels. I watch American Pickers and they are forever finding evidence of raccoons being places they should not be. Last time I was in Yosemite we heard some raccoons fighting over trash at one of the food places. It was crazy.

No, what was crazy was my kittens and I (and a neighbor from downstairs) watching a ceiling hook being unscrewed from the unfinished attic portion of my ceiling. Lack of opposable thumbs is all that kept them from getting it out. The landlord's critter guy has trapped 4 so far. Haven't heard any others, so we may have gotten the main culprits.
