Welcome to the quilting board. I agree that quilting helps the empty nest situation. BTW, I'm in Indiana now, but I grew up in Franklin Co., PA and graduated from LVC in Lebanon Co.

Thanks to all for welcoming me. Actually I don't really mind being an empty-nester. I've been working 7 days a week since June and sewing every spare minute I have so I am fairly busy. My daughter and I are very close but I am so excited for her to have the opportunity to go to college. I miss her terribly but I talk to her everyday and she adjusted to her new environment and responsibilities better than I could have hope.
