Hello everyone! I am brand new at this computer thing. I am a 64 great-grandma. 7 children,13 grandchildren and two precious great granddaughters! I have been sewing and quilting forever!!!!! I purchased my first Husqvarna in 1977. It was the first computerized machine they built. I am still using it today however last fall I purchased a new Designer I and I love it. I am not familiar with the 830 or 850 but I have never had a single problem with either of my machines. I want to start machine quilting (I am stilll doing it the old fashion way-by hand. I am somewhat leary of trying it on my own. Any good advice would be appreciated Thanks Sue

Hi: Nice to meet you! I envy any of the hand quilters. I have yet to master that technique. I am a machine quilter. There are so many wonderful people here, you may not get much sewing done!

At the top of this page there is the word "search" click on it and then type in machine quilting. There are lots of information there. It's a good place to start.
