Hi. Have have been lurking around for quite a while, and recently decided to jump in with a couple of comments.
Now I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Ann. I have been sewing since I was 9. I also do just about every other craft that I can get my hands on!! Even owned a craft store for 3 years (big mistake). My son is military, so I follow him, his wonderful wife, and my three terrific granddaughters as he is transferred around the country.
I have been piecing for quite some time, but have just recently started to actually quilt what I have pieced(Still have a whole bunch waiting)! I have really jumped in with both feet! I retired in 2009 and my retirement gift to myself was a New Joy Crystal Quilter and Magic Frame!! I was a little nervous about it at first but am finally getting into it!!
I have also infected my girlfriend who just completed her first quilt. While lurking around here I saw many different versions of a quilt that had a very nice name. Thought it might be good for her second quilt, but, of course, I can't remember the name!! Thought I bookmarked a couple, but guess I didn't.
It is made up of solid squares and 3 strip squares. The way they go together it looks like they link into the solid squares. Anyone understand my rambling?? I have every confidence that someone will know what I am talking about. You are all great!!
