I have always loved to sew, but have only been quilting a few years, with a lot to learn. The quilt bug bit, and I can't stop. I work full time, with 3 children, and 4 grand children. I even have my 7 year old granddaughter working on her first quilt top. I really love this site and reading all your advice had been just great. Thanks from this old Texas coast gal.

Hello Jean, nice to meet ya. I'm also on the Texas coast and work full time but no kids at home. You'll find lots of advice and friendship on this board. Welcome.

Hey I'm from Texas too! I'm in Baytown, so I'm just up the road from you! Wouldn't it be great if we could all get together to quilt sometime?

Hello Jean.. I quickly noticed your Mathews is with one T.. so am I. My inlaws were from Tx. also.. Just wondering if you had family... with Percy D. Mathews??? as a relative. He was from London England.. at the turn of the century..............Wouldn't it be a hoot if we were related..?

Hello and welcome to the family Jean! Glad to have you! If you have any pictures of your work you'd like to share, we'd love to see them. Texas is a state on my to go to list. I would love to visit Texas...one of these days!
