I'm not to new to quilting My sil started me the week my husband took a trip to Texas alone to visit our neighbors parents when he first retired, and had a short week to himself with no babysitting. My sil picked me up and we went to Joanns super store and I looked at sewing machines. Bought a real nice Viking and I love it. When we got back to her house it started. Have made a few baby quilts, four out of seven of my children have gotten quilts for their BD's Doing three BOM's from my favorite LQS Working on two Shop Hops tops and enough material stashed to make lots more. I'm a fabricoholic don't know what to do with all of it except hide it. Have worked in a nursing home for 27yrs and in my spare time I sell Avon with my daughter, and am a Tastefully Simple ind consultant. Babysit lots of grandchrilden one who is Autistic and we have her the most while mommy and daddy work. Love to quilt love all the things I'm learning from this site and all my new quilting friends.

Hi and welcome from the sunny state of Florida!!
I spent a summer in Uniontown when I was younger with my older sister. My DM had family there at the time. I have very fond memories of my summer with my cousins. It was also the first time that I ever stayed away from my parents for any length of time.
