Greetings, I joined several weeks ago and am now diving into the conversations. What a great group you are. I appreciate the positive, encouraging feedback everyone receives. I went from lifelong seamstress to quilting and LOVE no longer having to fit a pattern to my changing body. I find quilting provides limitless possibilities. I have not quilted too many years so I still have much to learn and know this group will be a great source of help.

Welcome from La Quinta, CA. I'm a former Washingtonian from Bonney Lake.

Hi Mary, Happy to meet you. I could have used some of your California sunshine this last month to offset a lot of rain. I have a sister in Bonney Lake area. I couldn't figure out how to do a direct reply, so posted. I'm a novice with blogs. What type of quilts do you like to do, preferences, also favorite colors, what challenges you?

No to shop hop, done it and will be traveling then. I usually volunteer during it to sell our guild's raffle tickets. I don't believe the ugly cook-your photo says different! What I now like to do is get a group of friends and after the official shop hop, we do our own. Shop hop is a great way to have fun with buddies and discover new places to travel to for MORE FABRIC! I've found a number of favorite quilt stores via shop hop. I also on occasion do on-line fabric store hop. some of my favorites are more in your area. Are you in a guild?

I don't know anything about guilds, so no, I don't belong to one.
