Let me know what you think! Some things work for some people and some things don't. I took a class a couple years agp and she had us cutting out individual templates. I finally just took the instructions and came home and cut them out my way because it is easier for me. I still learned a lot of patterns from the class so it wasn't a waste of time.

If I can help let me know.

The outside of your pieced HST will then be on the bias, right? Or do you cut your original strips on the bias so the outside of the squares will be on the straight of grain? I have a heck of a time working with bias....my all time phobia, I guess.

I don't look for bias. I just cut a strip where I have room for the length of strip I want. Because I am working with small sections it has never been a problem for me.

I have never learned how to do anything on the bias. Wouldn't know how.

Good Morning,
Thank you for this tip. I love 1/2 triangles for scrappy quilts. I get to use so many colors. I think this will be easier than what I have been doing,
