What a fabulous quilt guild "community quilts" project!!
I'm taking my computer to our Queen Bees group tomorrow and showing off this post to them.......we could get SO MANY made in just one 4 hour sew day, WOW!!
Of course, in our case, with all donated fabrics, there will have to be a "cutting day" first, to create the jelly Rolls. But as I love to cut, and surely there are others who will, that shouldn't be too hard.
Hmmm, instead of donated blocks made from a 'pattern of the month', we could request 2&1/2" - 3" strips of fabric be donated each month during the year with a 1600" quilt sew day in the spring!
"And glitter. SO much glitter!" (I love that wiggly-fingered teacher in that ad, LOL!)
