    3 finds

First: just watched Jenny - MSQC - new tute on a spool quilt...cool!

Second: picked up a magazine the other day - Quickly Quilts. F&P publication, a bit pricy, but I thought I would invest in one......it's ok....very few ads, quilts seem to be mostly updates of traditional type blocks, but I probably won't do it again----$9.99

Third: for those interested in a good book for learning how to hand appliqué. The Best Ever Applque Sampler from piece o cake designs, authors Becky Goldsmith & Linda Jenkins. I bought with 50%coupon at JAF the other day. It is very thorough with lots of pics and tips...tempted to really try it again.. The few little things I gave done I seemed to be all thumbs, maybe with these guidelines it may prove to be a bit more enjoyable.....

No affiliated with any of the above, just thought I would pass on info, if anyone is interested

I bought the Fons & Porter one and want to make everything in it. So far I have made the Believe banner and tablerinner. Snowglakes are next.
