Default 3"x3" squares

I have posted this in a comment to another thread but I would like to share this with all of you because I think it is a good deal. I came across this post on eBay and it expires soon. I have no idea who the seller is and I am not advertising for him or her I just want to share something that may be a good deal. If it is not a good deal ignore it. Here is the copy of a post: "Massive 7,300+ Lot of Vintage Fabric Quilt Blocks! Each square measures 3". These blocks were meticulously cut by a woman suffering from*Alzheimer's. This was a project to keep her busy, and busy she was! They were counted by adding the total of one stack and then multiplying. I came up with 7,430, but to be on the safe side I am listing this count. There are too many of these squares to get pictures of all. They are in excellent condition. Package weighs 11+ pounds!*"
You will find it by entering "quilting fabric lots" in the search. Current bid is $62.50 and shipping is $18.58. Again, I am not in any way associated with this person or eBay. Just trying to share something that may potentially be a good score.

The price has just doubled. So maybe this deal is becoming less and less appealing.

I went to ebay and looked just because I've never seen that many squares.

I can see myself doing this in my dotage....a few years from now.

If I bid on this and win it I'll be making a whole lot of charity quilts. Wish me luck.

I've never seen so many squares! Wow! Some poor soul was occupied for many, many hours doing this. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease.

At least they were being productive. My grandma used to tear off paper towels and fold them into stacks. Sad, but she was always busy before she developed Alzheimer's. Yes, it is a terrible disease.
