40% off sale at Connecting Threads!!!

I just got an email from Connecting Threads (which I'm not associated with except that I spend most of DH's paycheck there!). Their Quilter's Candy Solids & Mirage fabrics are all on sale (40% off) until 08/08!!! And their thread is still on sale for $1.74 per spool. I don't know about you but I LOVE their Mirage fabrics! Oh, there goes my diet!!!

I love their mirage fabrics too! I couldn't believe they were on sale!
    You buy 3 yards here
    You buy 3 yards there
    You find the mirage fabrics
Then you buy 5 yards everywhere
    You do the hokey pokey
And you push the purchase button
    That's what it's all about!!!

Very good! The only thing... I wish their Mirage samplers were on sale, too (could I be harder to please? LOL!). I guess I'll just *have to buy* yardage... LOL!

    Connecting Threads fabric

I've never purchased fabric online before. How close does the color you see online match the color when you get the fabric?

That sort of depends on your computer monitor. It can vary, but I have always been happy with the colors I have purchased online.

I've shopped with them three times in the past week and a half!! Just placed an order this morning. I have to STOP.

I love their Mirage fabrics for backing. They are perfect for that.

I just got a spool of their thread as an RAK and before even using it, I want to buy more just to have on hand! I have to feel the fabric to be convinced, but maybe I should just get a little to try it out.

I had wondered about the fabric too, so I bought a kit and tried it. It happened to be for a laundry bag. The fabric has a nice feel to it had it has held up after many washings.
