Smile Feather Weight machine carrier

The gals in my small quilting group are so happy as they discovered the CIAO Underseat Travel Case sold at Costco for $29.99. It has wheels and a handle for easy travel, holds their Featherweight machines and has room for other supplies such as scissors, thread, extra needles, etc. If you have one of these sewing machines and take it to classes or from one place to another, you might want to look into this bag. It is made for airline travel.

Thank you so much for the information. I just got a featherweight but the case locks are broken so I have been looking for a case of some kind. I will definitely look for one the next time I go to Costco.

I have 2 friends that bought 24 can coolers - the nylon insulated type and they have made great carriers for the Featherweights. Bought at Wal-Mart, I think they said under $20.00.

Thanks that's a good idea because a FW in it's case is a lot to tote around.

Costco website says it should be in your local stores. Sometimes it's web only.

Great tip. Thanks. I do not have a Featherweight yet but one is certainly in my sights for purchase.

I have a FW with its case, but I bought a Tutto case for it. The Tutto definitely costs more than some of the other bags, but it has a metal surround frame and 4 wheels that go in all directions. It also has straps and pockets to hold stuff. It has taken a lot of abuse.

I have taken it to several workshops and seminars. I know that the one of the owners of my LQS (old address) has traveled with it on a plane.

One very important feature for any rolling case, be sure it has an extra handle for lifting attached to the case. I have a small Tutto case, found at Salvation Army for $6!! and I am impressed how nice it is. My case for my whitish FW is green and white bowling ball looking case and awkward to carry.

The case is on Amazon, too, but currently unavailable. I like the idea of the insulated case from Walmart - very ingenious!

My featherweight did not have a case when I purchased it. However, I found an aluminum tool case at Harbor Freight when it was on sale. It was perfect for the machine with a little extra room for supplies
