I thought I would add a few more links I found for blocks and settings for the group working on the 9 Patch Project. Enjoy!
1. Here is a block that is a bit more work to do but still a 9 patch.
http://www.quiltpox.com/Patterns/BuildingBlocks/
Looks like a great way to use up smaller scraps.
2. Here is another that looks like it would lend itself to smaller scraps. http://quilting.about.com/od/blockof...ouble_nine.htm
Here are some setting suggestions for this block.
http://www.quiltingassistant.com/doubleninepatch.html
3. Here is a "beginner friendly" 9 patch pattern.
http://quilting.about.com/b/2009/04/...ck-pattern.htm
4. Some other 9 patch setting ideas.
http://www.quiltingassistant.com/9patch.html
5. Another setting idea.
http://www.scrapquilts.com/julybom.html
6. How about a "Crazy Nine-Patch Lattice Quilt"
http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransso...ice-quilt.html
7. "Off The Grid" Sliced 9 Patch.
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/02/...tch-quilt.html
I could see a great scrappy quilt using this pattern.
