There is a wonderful auction site that offers sewing machines that have been put up for sale after being put out of service at various schools (as well as hundreds of other items from hundreds of other places). I've never been able to take advantage of it for one reason or another (no cash at the moment, too far to travel to pick up, etc) but I'm looking forward to one day adding to my present collection of 20 machines (which includes my quilting machine on a 12' frame). I wish I were closer and able to take advantage of this one - it has 10 assorted sewing machines and the two pictured are Janome. Right now it's only $60 with a little over a day left to bid.
