Default It all started with...

I subscribe to a mailing list for smocking and embroidery. Today the publication was from Country Bumpkin and the title was about stitching with friends.

Great share. I can see they are of beautiful craftsmanship and with great attention to specific style. I have only one question:
I am a novice, so how can I do embroidery myself?
