Thread: America the Beautiful Pattern, McCalls quilting magazine

It is in the July/August McCalls quilting magazine, on page 91. It says the pattern is free, but where. Can not find. It is a nice quilt and would like the pattern, just can not find. Anyone else know? Thanks

Just checked the mccalls site - the pattern you want is available as a PDF download for $7.99, it is a sweet pattern. Hope this helps.

Go to McCalls site type in America the Beautiful and you will see it was a 6 part series and is now completed. If you can find past McCalls magazines the pattern will be free. Hope this helps.

According to the magazine page, it is a quilt along video series using the America The Beautiful pattern. The videos are free, but the pattern is not. They probably will not tell you the sizes of each block being used in the videos. The pattern is $7.99 or buy each magazine (6) for $6 each, unless you can find all of them at a garage sale, thrift store, or quilt show boutique cheaper. The full pattern was also in their America Quilts Together/Autumn 2012 special issue, but they did not offer that online, even as a digital, from what I saw. You might find that one somewhere.
