Jean I use "the long"attachment quite a bit.and it works for me..I have only 1 eye and therefore people do not realize I have no dept perception...Try sewing with one eye closed. I think I will also try the cardboard way it seems interesting. good luck witch ever you use.

Wow, you can't imagine how helpful this is to me. I'm going to try it on my next 1/4" project. I often seem to "veer off" either at the beginning or end of my stitching, and this may cure me of that.

Though I'd think it might slow me down, I also think that may be a fair trade-off for a more accurate seam.
