I knew a lady that worked for a production company. She was sent out to shop for small props for scenes in movies. She had to go to all thrift stores and antique malls, and dealers to find the right props to decorate a room. When Ebay and other sites like that made it easy to shop for items she was so happy. She would pay that much for this if it was for a prop. I've seen her pay over $500 for a vase that had the perfect coloring for a table to be in a movie set. You never know who bids on items.

Bellaboo, thanks for clarafying the insanity for us. I did spend $5.00 to get a box of spools and put it in a glass jar. Wish i had her job!!!!!!

i bet they get the $100 and its such a bargain. there are alot of crazy people as someone else said. but they wont be getting it from me. crazy yes, stupid, no.

A litle out of touch I would say, but then again, "nothing ventured, nothing gained." It will be interesting to see if the come down on the price at some point.
