I have this thread set and haven't had any problems with tension or breakage using it in my Bernina for embroidery. I loaned two shade spools to a friend who has a Brother Quantro and she didn't say she had a problem. I paid more then the regular price on that website at a quilt shop in downtown Charleston a few years ago.

I've been dealing with Shoppers Rule for several years now. I've bought around 40 mini cones of this thread and have no problems what-so-ever.

The thread came yesterday. The cones are much larger then I thought. In the picture the small spool is a regular size Aurifil. I compared it to Aruifil poly and looks the same. It took as much strength to break it by hand as the Aurifil. I haven't sewn with it yet.

The ad did say King Cones and I do have the Aurifil Invisible, which is Nylon and works well in my LA. When I made my previous comment, I didn't see the tops for markings.
