Power cord is not expensive from SewClassic.
It looks to me to be in pretty tough shape. Well, don't pay any attention to me, I wandered off and was looking at a 301A and it was the one in such pitiful condition, not the 401. How the mind does wander. Sorry.

It wasn't mine, I just stumbled upon it but it's sold now.
Just saw this today. Too bad, I would have bought it. Those are great machines and that was a good price.![]()
Real price:
Sewing machine $49.00
foot control and wire http://shop.sew-classic.com/Foot-Con...E197628-CP.htm
power cord: http://shop.sew-classic.com/Cord-Sin...ORE-SCE122.htm 6.99
Presser feet and disks kit: approx $39 on ebay
Then there is cleaning and servicing.
How about a case or a cabinet?
It might figure at a bargain if you can find one for $125 - $150 already to sew.
