I'm from St Louis and didn't know Barn quilts were happening around here. So thought others would be interested.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Oh my goodness! Thank you for posting! I grew up in Callaway County......these are all in my back door! Although I still have a farm in Callaway County, I live at Lake Ozark....Kingdom Telephone is the best!! They are so community oriented that I am not surprised they are included! I hope it is a successful tour and think I might just have to figure out a way to get this in my schedule!! Again, thank you......isn't Quilt Board the best?!?

I live just across the river in IL. I finished my barn quilt yesterday and it will be hung soon. I was talking about it at quilt guild last night and another lady said hers was put up about 2 weeks ago. Then this morning my husband called to say he got in trouble when the wife of a man he works with (she was at the meeting last night) came home and said she wants one for their new barn. Mine is 48" square but she wants one bigger because their barn is like 80' long!![]()
I believe barn quilts are gaining popularity everywhere. They add a nice splash of color on car rides and it does become a game to find them sometimes.
