Creative clutter is better than idle neatness.
I purchased 3 cones for $111.00, and tax and shipping came to $141.00. She sent me a note, refunding additional 12% as a closing benefit, -$13.32, and shipping discount, -$24.87 = $38.19 refund.
That's approximately $103.00 for 3 cones of Aurifil thread - I don't know where you can get that much of a discount, anywhere. And Sue provided me excellent service!

I just checked out this site, and it looks like they are going out of business. Does anyone know for sure?

She has said for at least several years, that she is going out of business. I don't really know, but everything I ordered she had in stock. Her prices are reasonable, and so is shipping. She reimburses you on shipping. That's something I've never found anyone else doing.

can i use this thread on cones for the regular sewing machines for piecing and regular sewing?
Children leave footprints on your heart that last a liftime.
The cones don't fit on the spindle on my sewing machine (and I think this would be true for all sewing machines). I put the cone in a plastic storage container and then threaded it through a bobbin attached to the spindle so that the thread would still come from the top of the machine.
In the end I decided using cones was more trouble than it was worth for me, because the cone kept moving around while I was sewing and got in my way since it was now taking up space on my sewing table. Plus it didn't fit into my drawers where I keep thread. I'm sure if I were really determined I could have worked out some sort of solution, but I don't need that much thread for most colors anyway.
