    It is a wonderful thread. It adds almost no bulk into your seams and almost disappears when sewing. But this is the orange spooled thread it is 50/2 cotton. You really should give it a try.

    I buy Aurifil when it's in stock here: http://www.tristan.bc.ca/

    Also the Italian mako thread is the same thread. Aurifil is a brand name.
