    Awesome quilt block labels!!!

Ooooh... I just found the coolest, handiest things ever... a .pdf file with labels that you can print out (laminate if you want to) & use to keep track of your blocks as you're putting your quilt together. I hope you think these are as nifty as I do!!! Here's the website you can download them from:

I have been making my own labels much like these, pinning always to the upper left corner of each block. It does help to keep the layout correct. I don't laminate mine, just print a new batch when I need them. In fact, now that I think of it, the last time I got a block in wrong was because I thought the quilt was too small and simple to need the labels!

Another labelling method are the kid beads .... rows by letters, columns by numbers ... pin on with safety pins.

These are quite nice, thank you. I have always marked mine on a scrap piece of fabric. I bet someone will come out with these to sell to quilters, wait and see, and then charge way too much for them.

They've been on the market for several years. You can get a set with the numbers already on them, or a set where you fill in the numbers.
