    Hitty her first hundred years- was an award winning childrens book. Hitty was a very old doll. I remember reading it.

    I read this book also as a child. I remember even now being struck for some reason by the real miniature coral bead necklace made for Hitty by a sailor.
    Always wanted to know what about Hitty's next hundred years.
