I have heard of these. My dad is a truck driver and he has seen these barn quilts. I would love to see them.

I would like to see them also, thanks for the link. Eleanor Burns has a book out for a Barn quilt sampler that is really cute, too.

There are several barn quilts in central Illinois and Iowa. I never really thought about people not seeing them. Like everything else, when you see them all the time you kind of take them for granted.

Here are a couple of links to self guided tours in IL and IA. The second link is to a tour in IA. The barn on the first page of the link is featured in Eleanor Burns new Barn Quilt book.

These are in WI. I've never seen them, but they look pretty.

I can't believe it, I had no idea there were so many so close to me. I would love to put one on our barn. I may have to research this further.

Miss M, check for barn quilts in Tennessee. They have them in many states now. I found this for Tennessee. They also have them in NC, Ohio. They seem to be abundant back east now.

There are tons of sites out there now for the barn quilt trails.
