    Thank you so much for sharing this. I love the stories and the patterns. I have mentioned at church that our church camp has a quilt auciton in the spring to raise funds for the camp. My hope was there would be some ladies interested in working together to make a quilt to donate to the auction. This would be PERFECT, using the beginners blocks. May also spike some additional interest.
    I don't know much about this part. Since the patterns for the blocks were free/downloadable and we would be doing our own layout/design with them, do I need any permission to use them for the purpose I mentioned. I don't think so, but don't want to do the wrong thing.

    I had found this site a couple of years ago when our pastor was celebrating his 25th year anniversary. We made him a stole with old testament squares on one side and new testament squares on the other side. He was absolutely thrilled. He now wears it for all weddings and funerals (and any special occastions) that performs.
