Smile Blooming 9-patch??

Saw a thread somewhere re Blooming 9-patch....loved the pattern, so went hunting......
Found a free pattern on Andover's website .....but the name is EDO by Heidi Pridemore for Makower Fabrics.
It looks like the same pattern to me ....???

http://andoverfabrics.com/FreeQuiltPatterns.php

EDO - ?Blooming 9-patch - 2012-06-11 - 485791 --- think it is number 126 or there-abouts....

I love this one as well - if it is not the Bloomin' 9-patch ....I don't care ...I am making it!!

Enjoy your weekend!

It may be similar but I met Blanche Young and her quilt patterns were unique. Her book Tradition with a Twist has this pattern in it. I doubt if it is her pattern that this company has published. But if you like it, go for it and enjoy.

I think you are right. Have fun with it, and I can't wait to see your quilt!

It looks the same to me also.

And this is a fantastic site - such a variety of traditional to modern with quilts and wall hangings.
Thank you for posting it!

I participated in a group where we all made the Blooming Nine Patch. It was very difficult to keep all the pieces in the right order. It was a brain nightmare for me.

One of my very favorite quilts, but I wouldn't have been able to do it without my working wall. It is just 9 patches joined to 1 patches on point. But it gets visually complicated I used stash.
