    Bojagi book

After this topic came up last week, I went searching at our local library system. I found a children's book which explains that it is indeed a wrapping cloth, but not just a piece of cloth. It is also a palate to show the needleworker's talent. The book, GOOD FORTUNE IN A WRAPPING CLOTH, by Joan Schoettler and illustrated by Jessica Lanan, is delightful look at the subject. It provides a look into that aspect of Korean culture. The illustrations are wonderful. This would be a great book for anyone who has adopted a Korean child.

I have looked at a library book on wrapping cloths thinking it would be a great way to wrap presents and no more gift wrap to dispose of. Cloth can then be re-purposed, re used, or returned to the gifted.
